Tips on cleaning with hydrogen peroxide in your Fort Lauderdale luxury home.

Cleaning With Hydrogen Peroxide

Computer Keyboards
Moisten a cotton swab with three percent hydrogen peroxide and run it over your computer keyboard. The cotton will be able to reach between keys and the solution will disinfect your keyboard.

Dishes
To disinfect dishes, add two teaspoons of three percent hydrogen peroxide to the soap dispenser in your automatic dishwasher. Add your usual dishwasher soap and run your dishwasher on a normal cycle. When the cycle is finished, your dishes will be sparkling and disinfected.

Toothbrushes
To disinfect your toothbrush, pour a stream of three percent hydrogen peroxide over it. Be sure to rinse your toothbrush and hands thoroughly in cold water after.

Cutting Boards And Countertops
To bubble away unwanted smell and bacteria left after preparing meat or fish, spray a hydrogen peroxide on the surface. Let the solution bubble for a few minutes, then wash and rinse the surface. Exposure to light reduces the effectiveness of hydrogen peroxide, so be sure to choose an opaque spray bottle.

Pots And Pans
To remove baked on food from your pots and pans, cover the effected areas with a paste made from hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. Let the paste six for about 30 minutes (or overnight). Then, rub the areas with sponge under warm water. The baked on food should lift right off.
