Fort Lauderdale Orange Bowl Downtown Countdown – It is said this will be one of the largest New Year’s Eve celebrations in Florida! The celebration will feature a variety of activities for children and adults. From 4:30 to 8:30 P.M. there will be a bounce houses/inflatables, face painting, games, contests, and dancing. Children can enjoy the early ball lighting and countdown at 7:00 P.M. Adults can enjoy live music on the main stage from 8:00 P.M. – 1:00 A.M.
4th Annual New Year’s Eve Masquerade Ball at Whiskey Blue in W Hotel – Welcome 2014 at this hip beachside hot spot that will be featuring an open bar from 8pm-12am, midnight champagne toast, music by DJ Kevin Graham & DJ Richie Rich, and more.
Blue Martini’s NYE 2014 at The Galleria Mall – Doors open at 8:00 P.M. Live entertainment is planned with a champagne toast at midnight.
Elvis Live in Concert at Cedars Palace Ocean Sky Hotel & Resort – Celebrate the start of the New Year with Elvis, starring Barry Porter. Enjoy music hors d’oeuvres selections, buffet dinner, dessert and a champagne toast at midnight.
Swinging New Year’s at Retro Lounge – Swing in 2014 with a Las Vegas flair. There will be a Rat Pack tribute by Tony Martelli, more sounds by the Retro Lounge Swing Band, and DJ Ronn will be bringing videos from the past. Naturally, there will be burlesque – “Bump and Grind Classic Vegas” style – tattooed ladies, and Frank Sinatra lookalikes. Times Square and a balloon drop will connote the arrival of 2014.
