For the latest luxury trend in real estate, we look to Hamilton Scotts – one of Singapore’s most coveted luxury high-rise residences. This iconic condominium building offers the finest in luxury living and is considered the most innovative residence building in Asia.
The 30-story building is located on the popular Scotts Road in District 9 – one of the most exclusive and prestigious areas in Singapore. Within walking distance is the heart of the city and the popular Orchard shopping belt.
Residents are spoiled by the usual features and amenities offered by a building of this caliber, including a lounge, fitness center, swimming pool, lap pool, reflective pool, Jacuzzi, 24-hour security and meeting rooms. Each unit is dressed with the finest finishes and offers breathtaking views of Singapore.
What sets Hamilton Scotts apart from other luxury condo buildings – and what may become the latest luxury real estate trend for car aficionados – is the car elevator and en-suite carport.
Residents park their car on one of two pads located on the ground floor. Upon exiting the vehicle, the owner engages a biometric reader, which activates the car lift and whooshes the car to the owner’s en-suite garage. From there, the car can be driven into a showroom-like carport that is separated by glass from the adjacent living room.

Some might think having an Aston Martin in your living room and a car elevator to get it there is a bit ostentatious. However, if you consider the expense and inefficiency of underground parking, which requires about 125 square feet of circulation and ramping for every 200 square feet of parking, the en-suite carport could be considered to be eco-friendly – at least that’s what you can tell yourself when you plop down $7.5 million for one of the condos.
